PFLAG, the first and largest organization for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ+) people, their parents and families, and allies, is hosting a Support Group Virtual Meeting on Thursday, January 14th from 7-9 p.m.
PFLAG Connects is a new virtual meeting space for the PFLAG Chapter Network that helps support you, so you can support your LGBTQ+ loved ones. You can join the Support Group by video, audio, or chat – whatever you’re comfortable with.
All groups are led and facilitated by PFLAG New Orleans volunteers with safety being the utmost priority for all of their virtual support group meetings. They will discuss privacy, confidentiality, and group agreements at the start of the meeting.
RSVP by emailing [email protected]. Once you submit your email, PFLAG New Orleans will send you a reply with instructions on how to join the group. If you have any questions, you can also contact us here at Maison Vie.

About PFLAG New Orleans
PFLAG New Orleans is one of the oldest organizations serving the LGBT community in New Orleans; we held our first meeting at the St. Louis Community Center in May of 1982. In our 35+ years, PFLAG New Orleans has continued its Mission:
To promote the health and well-being of gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender persons, their families, and friends through support to cope with an adverse society, education to enlighten an ill-informed public, and advocacy to end discrimination and secure equal civil rights. PFLAG New Orleans provides opportunities for dialogue about sexual orientation and gender identity and acts to create a society that is healthy and respectful of human diversity.
